I like the Mac because I did not have to buy any unnecessary software with it. A lot of Apps you can get for free. You don't have to buy antivirus - yet. OS X comes with a lot of software. I don't have to stay up until 3 a.m. tweaking or fixing my operating system because someone unknowingly downloaded spyware on my computer. If you eavesdrop on a sales person selling a pc undoubtedly you will hear them recommend AV software every time. Where's the cost saving in that? You get what you pay for. I'm not only saving money by not buying software I'm saving time by not having to tweak it all the time. Ryan’s last blog post: Relax - it all takes practice.

Would do if I could afford a Mac - my laptop runs quick and was £400, how much would an equivalent Macbook cost?
