My workspace #2
A few things happened since my last post about workspaces, so I thought I’d update you a little on the situation
When I got my Mac, I had to re-arrange my desk. I made my Windows pc into a media center, so I didn’t really need the keyboard on my desk anymore, which cleared an area for my Mac and tablet next to each other. I ditched the phonebooks as a monitor stand for something which is supposed to be made for holding a monitor, but I’m missing my phonebooks, so they might come back.
Here’s what it looks like now. Please post a link in the comments to your workspace/desktop. A link to this post is appreciated of course

This is my home setup http://www.flickr.com/photos/kruitpgb/2634685990/
Short version: Mac Pro (2x Quad 2.8GHz 16GB RAM 2TB HDD), 2x 24″ Samsung, MacBook Black, iPhone (also have a iPhone 3G which is not in the picture) and a Sony V700. What do I use it for? Nothing much

No, no, no! You’re supposed to use your Mac as the media center. Get a mini Dvi adapter, hook it up to your second monitor and and get a backup hard drive for your music files etc. Then pitch the PC into the closet and bring it out only to do your taxes.

@Ryan, I know. I have a dvi adapter, but my tv is one of those old bulky ones and I have a 5.1 set, which is not supported by Macbooks..
Maybe in the future I’ll get a Mac pro with 5.1 and a plasma.. THEN my pc will get ditched totally..

In Canada Quick Tax doesn’t support the Mac and the only software to be able to do your taxes can only be bought online. Unless you have a virtual PC software on your Mac you probably will need your PC for a little while longer.
